Nathan Miller brings an extensive background in government service, politics, campaigning and the private sector. He previously served as Deputy District Director for California State Board of Equalization (CABOE) Chair Woman Diane Harkey, District Director in the California State Assembly and has worked on staff in several capacities for the Legislature.
Recently, as Government Affairs Director for the Building Industry Association (BIA), Riverside County Chapter, Nathan’s efforts fighting for issues of concern saved Riverside County New Home Buyers and the Building Industry several millions of dollars and helped craft local policy paving the way for affordable development and local economic stability. Nathan’s experience with the BIA, CABOE and CA State Legislature has lent to his expertise on matters ranging from Education, Development, Sales and Use Tax matters and a wide-ranging level of knowledge and experience navigating the vast web of California State and Local Agencies.
In his first bid for elected office, Nathan was humbled to have been elected as the first Trustee for the Riverside Community College District (RCCD) from Corona from 2012 to 2016. Nathan was also recently tapped to serve as a Vice Chair to the Riverside County Office of Education, School District Organization Committee. This Committee aids in the redistricting of Riverside County At-Large K-12 School Districts to Single Member Districts in compliance with the California Voters Rights Act.
Nathan attended California Polytechnic University, Pomona earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with completed coursework in Astronomy, Physics & Engineering. Nathan is married and lives in Corona with his three children: Max, Michelle and Alexander.
